  We have rented in November car from the almost cheapest group - 60€ for 4 days - we get VW Polo with 50kkm - clean and no waiting by getting key - but it was not within the season

  I have to say, I had no complaints at all. In the summer 2017, I rented the smallest car (KIA Picanto) for ten days from the airport in Alicante via internet. I just booked the standart package without any extra insurances whatsoever. So the price was insanely cheap (ca. 8€ per day) compared to what I am used to in Germany. As the car we got was almost new I also resisted to book any additional insurance packages when we were asked by the service guy at the airport. All in all the handover was short and simple (ergo adequate). As it said in the handover certificate the car had no damages (I always check before). As it turned out the size of the car was more than perfect to fit the narrow streets of Alicante. During the time in Spain the car ran like a swiss clockwork. There was only one thing which concerned me at first. The fuel gage did not move for a long time so I thought it must be brocken. But the little car was just so efficient. When I booked the car at internet, I chose the full-to-full option!!! I think it always comes out cheaper. And indeed the bill for gas was just about 30€. I returned the car at the Airport before our flight home. Also the handover was all in all fast and simple.

  Before I rented at Interrent I read all the bad reviews and I was really worried to rent a car there. But as Interrent was recommend to me by a local I decided to give it a try.

  Avoid, avoid, avoid. We waited 1hr 45mins to get to the front of the queue with 3 young children. We were then presented with a list of hidden extra charges. Ended up cancelling the car and getting the bus to our final destination. Contacted the wholesaler who we booked it through and got our money back. Not a great start to the family holiday! Ps I read the previous reviews and thought we'd be okay!

  This company always try to make you spend more money. Extra insurance, upgrade to diesel, upgrade to a bigger car, upgrade your insurance etc. etc. The comprehensive insurance (peace of mind) which costs approx 20 euros per day doesn't include breakdown!! So you have to pay an extra 5 euros on top of the 20 in the event that their car breaks down, unbelievable! Beware, their phone number costs 3 pounds per minute to call.

  I share the sentiments of the recent review. We arrived out of season, early November, on a Thursday, fearing the worse. I had only paid £38 for seven days rental. No other customers so paperwork and collection was fast. Offered various inexpensive upgrades (new BMW for €90 extra for example) but declined. Car had seen better days (all four corners damaged), car service warning light on, front tyres only just legal. Car ran well with no problems. Very fuel efficient (Leon). Check in very efficient with friendly staff. Bargain and will use again.
